Christmas!

We had such a fun Christmas! We spent the season going to lights, reading stories, eating yummy treats, singing carols, and spending lots of time with our family. I did feel a little pressure to make sure the boys did know the true meaning of Christmas. Sometimes that balance is hard at this age when all they talk about is Santa Clause. We spent Christmas Eve at Todd's Aunt Cindy's house. We had a really yummy dinner and played some fun games.
We stopped by the lights on our way home with Steve and Camille. You can't visit the lights too many times at Christmas, right?
The kids opened their new jammies before bedtime.

We're still lucky that our kids don't get up too early. They woke up about 7:30, and for a few minutes I think they forgot it was Christmas morning.

Reece didn't care too much about the presents!

The boys loved their Pillow pets! This is Reece's new pretty smile!

We enjoyed breakfast on Christmas morning with all of the Wright's. (Chris and Ashley were the only ones not there)

Weston and Holden were soooo excited about their new guns. (pretend of course!) And Holden had been asking his Nana for a trumpet. I can't believe that she found one. It's not real, it's just plastic, and it's not too loud. Holden loves it!!!

The boys scored some pretty good things at Grandpa Lash's White elephant game!

Christmas is such a fun time of year, almost magical it seems! It's such a great time to reflect upon the life of our Savior and to realize all of the wonderful blessings that we have been given.
